VI Peel with Precision Plus

VI Peel with Precision Plus is a chemical peel treatment that restores a smooth, even skin tone for patients dealing with hyperpigmentation and changes in skin texture – common issues for many during the natural aging process. If you are experiencing hyperpigmentation, which creates areas of soft tissue that are darker than their surroundings, the VI Peel with Precision Plus can safely create the results you’re looking for. While these cosmetic skin issues are harmless medically, they can affect your confidence. But with professional skin care, you can enjoy a renewed sense of well-being and the benefits of glowing skin

What Is the VI Peel?

The VI Peel’s ingredients combine to make this skin peel unlike its predecessors; your treatment is specifically formulated for your skin type. VI Peels will improve the tone, texture, and clarity of your skin, reduce age spots, improve hyperpigmentation and melasma, soften lines and wrinkles, clear acne-prone skin, fade acne scars, and accelerate the natural collagen production process – all of these benefits combine to create younger-looking and vibrant skin.

The VI Peel has the following benefits:

  • A unique formulation to fade the appearance of uneven skin pigment
  • The ability to minimize age spots
  • Creates a brightening effect to correct discoloration in common trouble spots
  • Smooths skin roughness or areas of uneven texture
  • Clears acne breakouts and improves the appearance of acne scars
  • Leaves you with healthy, glowing skin

Your Peel for Sun Spots and Pigmented Skin

The VI Peel with Precision Plus represents a significant improvement over older methods of chemical peels that required time for healing. The treatment is a medium-depth peel that produces dramatic results in just days, with little downtime. The most common side effects of the VI Peel include minor discomfort, redness, or a feeling of tightness in the treatment area. These issues are mild and usually resolve on their own within a few days.

The VI Peel with Precision Plus unique formula is designed to tackle skin problems by exfoliating at the cellular level. Thanks to the combined actions of its high-quality ingredients, which include TCA, salicylic acid, phenol, retinoic acid, vitamin C, and a mineral blend, it will help erase fine lines and wrinkles, shrink pores, and increase development skin-firming compounds, such as collagen and elastin, for healthier, more resilient skin.

This VI Peel is extremely effective in eliminating sun damage and hyperpigmentation, and melasma, which often proves to be the most stubborn skin issue to treat. The VI Peel with Precision Plus is a great treatment choice for all ages, including adults and adolescents who struggle with acne breakouts or residual scarring from acne.

Who Is a Good Candidate for a VI Peel?

The ideal candidate for a VI Peel with Precision Plus is seeking to treat common skin concerns such as hyperpigmentation, melasma, mild to moderate rosacea, fine facial lines or wrinkles, or acne. These VI Peels are also excellent for anyone whose goal is to improve the firmness, tone, and texture of their skin. The VI Peel with Precision Plus is one of the first treatments of its kind that is suitable for patients with darker skin tones.

Patients who are pregnant or nursing, who are allergic to any of the ingredients, or who have diminished immune systems should not get a VI Peel. Before receiving treatment, be sure to tell us about your health history, including any medical conditions you may have or any medications you take.

Frequently Asked Questions about VI Peel with Precision Plus

In many cases, patients will need only one treatment with a VI Peel to achieve beautiful skin. The VI Peel with Precision Plus is noted for its powerful ability to restore and repair damaged skin while being an excellent choice for prevention of cosmetic aging in younger patients. However, some patients will require a series of treatments, depending on their aesthetic goals. After evaluating your skin and discussing your concerns, we will recommend the best treatment option for you.

It normally takes a couple of days for the peeling to begin, and the length of peeling time varies from patient to patient. As a general guideline, most people begin peeling by the third day after their treatment, and the peeling will usually be finished seven days after your procedure.

You can return to work and resume normal activities immediately after your VI Peel, provided you have minimal sun exposure. However, we ask that you do not sweat excessively for at least 72 hours after getting your peel, because sweating can cause skin irritation. Therefore, you will also want to avoid working out during this time period.

Your skin will only be slightly more sensitive, if at all, during the peeling process itself. You may experience a few days of sensitivity until your skin returns to its normal pH balance.

VI Peels are highly effective at tightening and improving the texture of the skin on the neck, chest, arms, legs, and hands, in addition to the face.

It is safe to have a VI Peel performed every four to six weeks, unless directed otherwise by your practitioner.

To not interfere with treatment, it is suggested that patients do not sweat excessively for at least 72 hours after having a peel performed. Excessive sweating may cause interruption of the peeling process and cause skin irritation.

The VI Peel consists of TCA, Salicylic Acid, Phenol, Retinoic Acid, Vitamin C, and a mineral blend.

Unlike many other chemical peels, the VI Peel is virtually painless, requires no downtime, and is safe for all skin types and tones.

All of this information will be reviewed in detail with you during and after your treatment in our office, and our trained practitioner will tailor the treatment to you. However, for your reference, please see our post-procedure guidelines:
